Today, February 14, a front will bring snowfall to the western and northern regions of Ukraine, and by evening, the snow will begin to spread towards the central part of the country.
Tomorrow, February 15, it is expected that snow and sleet will reach the central, eastern, and southern regions. By Saturday, the northern and western regions will be behind this atmospheric front.
In the south and southeast of Ukraine, rain may mix with sleet as temperatures rise. Heavy precipitation is forecasted for some areas on February 15, which will lead to difficult driving conditions, especially in the center, east, and south.
Wet snow may accumulate on the roads, reducing visibility and making travel very dangerous.
After the snow, sleet, and rain caused by today’s warming, a blast of cold air from the north will lead to dangerous ice formation on the roads by noon on February 15.

Drivers should exercise extra caution, especially on Saturday and Sunday. Additionally, the sharp weather change will be accompanied by strong gusty northwestern winds.
From February 15 to 16, a significant drop in temperatures is expected across Ukraine, bringing frosty conditions. In Kyiv, there will be no precipitation on February 15, but light snow is anticipated on February 16. Ice on the roads will remain a concern.
Also, on February 15, temperatures will drop to -4°C to -6°C at night and during the day. By Sunday night, temperatures could fall to -10°C, and on February 16, daytime temperatures will be around -5°C.
Cold weather is expected to persist throughout the upcoming week, with a warming trend anticipated around February 24.
