With the two-zone tariff, electricity consumption from 11 PM to 7 AM is charged at a 50% discount, meaning the rate decreases to 2.16 UAH per kWh instead of 4.32 UAH.
Any Ukrainian has the right to install a multi-zone meter and switch to this tariff by contacting their electricity provider.
Furthermore, it is crucial to understand that Ukraine will require significant investments to restore and strengthen its energy sector after the war. Given the current economic challenges, government subsidies for lower electricity tariffs may become unsustainable.
