Dnipropetrovsk faced several days without heating during the freezing temperatures due to a supply issue.

On Friday, February 21, the residential area of Prydniprovs'k once again found itself without heating due to an accident. This was reported by the Left Bank District Administration, as conveyed by "Vidomo".

"Due to the emergency situation that has arisen at the Prydniprovs'ka TPP, the level of heat carrier has been reduced to a critical level," the statement says.

It is also noted that for the next few days, heating in the Prydniprovs'k residential area will be absent.

"As of 1:00 PM, the output is about 28 °C. It is clear that by evening the temperature will drop further, and residents will have to use alternative heating sources – electric household appliances," said Dnipro's Deputy Mayor Ihor Makovtsev.

The utility services are working to eliminate the aftermath of the accident and are doing everything possible to resume heat supply to homes. Heating is tentatively expected to be restored by February 25.
