In Dnipro, the operation of outdoor lighting will be contingent upon the electricity outage schedules. This was reported by the Dnipro city council, as conveyed by "Vidomo".
Starting from November 18, hourly power outages are once again in effect in Dnipro.
"In Dnipro, the functioning of external lighting is influenced by the outage schedules of energy supply companies. This is due to the recent large-scale attack on Ukraine's energy system and the implementation of emergency and planned outages by Ukrenergo," the statement reads.
No specific restrictions will be imposed; the lighting operation is dependent on the schedules from the energy supply companies.
Currently, the standard operating mode for outdoor lighting is until 00:00. However, changes in the electricity supply schedules may affect this timetable.
This means that if you and your neighbors are experiencing a power outage, the streetlights will also not be functioning.
If there is electricity, street lighting will be operational.
